Why can't you have issues with the country you love? Maybe it's just that Bush helped dumb-down the culture to a degree where people can no longer hold two opposing views in their head at the same time without going crazy.

What Hannity and Limbaugh and O'Reilly and that gang do is deflect, take shit out of context, and then run down the field with it. They have a right to the first Amendment, but other people have the right to smack them down when they start behaving like children instead of grown-ups.

America isn't a country that's too far to the right or too far to the left, but the far-right has completely hijacked the floor in recent years, and personally I wish McCain and Obama would continue to smack these guys down. They don't engage or add to the conversation; it's all about spreading fear with those types, and then cashing in on big ratings because they're prone to say foolish things.
