I think he's assuming that the
New Yorker cover he's using as his signature is actually a photograph, rather than a satirical jab at the very same individuals that share Lost Soul's mentality.
I can't be the only one who sees the irony in that. It would be like me using the Obama/Messiah poster as my signature.
