My view is a hell of a lot more rational than outright trashing our way of life on the spot because of a bunch of nonsense non-science.

While we're at it - save a ton of energy and stop recycling. You know how much water we waste rinsing out peanut butter jars and soda cans...how much energy, human and otherwise, we waste worrying about that shit? Landfills of today = rich mineral deposits of tomorrow. When the free market thinks it worth it, they'll have maps of where to dig that shit back up.

Bullshit! 
1) The "free market" doesn't exist, it's a myth
2) Oil companies are making record profits, they don't need to drill, and don't want to. Oil companies have all but ceased oil exploration--it's costly, and risky--a waste of money when you can just sit back and rake in the cash.
