Re: Obama's brother found living in a hut.

Bringing up Obama's half-brother is bizarre and ridiculously off-point. First of all, Barack didn't win the surname lottery like Cindy Hensley. He had to make his own wealth, and he really didn't have a solid footing until relatively recent. For most of Barack and his brother's lives, Barack was in no position to give out free lunch, even to a sibling. Is he in a position to help his bro now? Yes. But if I were Barack, I'd tell him to straighten his life out, go to school and work to contribute to society; in other words, prove that he can make something of himself before I even consider bringing him to the states. It sounds like junior is making an effort, so perhaps sometime in the future, we'll see Barack helping out his bro more.

Second of all, it wasn't like the younger Obama was receiving a certain amount of contribution and then was suddenly cut off by the older brother; like what Cindy did. She cut off her sister immediately after her dad passed away. I mean, think all the things that a daughter normally does when a loved one is gone - grief, plan for the funeral, reminisce the old times, etc; she had cutting off her sister as one of the priorities. And she didn't even tell her sister in advance, she just did it and let her sis found out later. That's cold.

And as a character issue, that's the difference between Cindy McCain and Barack Obama. Although the real issue ought to be between John Sidney McCain III and Barack Obama.
