For me its really this simple. I will explain.

The Taliban are afghanis, they have always fought occupiers in past and won. I am not saying they are a perfect regime and I disagree with the way they ran the country. But Afghanistan was stable politically and the only problem was with the corrupted Northern Alliance opposition who have infiltrated the current also corrupt government which was brought to power by the US.

On the other hand, the current government has done nothing for afghanistan and afghanis,.... they are similar to the puppet iraqi government... they are just in power to bend over to America not really to look after the real interests of the afghani people.

At the end of the day, America has not improved the life of afghanis but rather it has made it worse. Their women and children are bombed by those who claim are bringing them freedom dadadadada oh and democracy dadadada..... their lives are in a bigger mess than before ...the drug trade has gone out of control... whereas the taliban shut it off completely.

I used the same argument with Iraq. I hate Saddam... I dont kno anyone who liked the guy.... but the Iraq under his rule was stable and a fully functioning country.... even as a dictator, call him the most evil human being if you like.... Iraqis under Saddam had a life, they had jobs, they went out of their homes without the fear of dying.... now regardless of who is the killer.... they are dying and so are their women and children. I am not saying he is an ideal leader, ... I am just saying between the two situations... his Iraq was much better than the current iraq. Nobody can argue this unless they are blind.

Back to Afghanistan..... the US had an issue with Al Qaeda.... fine....they attacked ur country on 9/11?....go get them.... leave afghanis out of this though.... they took their eyes off OBL and his lot.... who must be in Pakistan now.... go bomb them in pakistan and leave afghanistan alone. What pisses me off is that 90 women and children were bombed to bits and very few condemned this... as if they are destined to die. Are they not human beings? How would you feel if one of them was your child?

We are all suppose to give a fk when 1 Israeli or American kid dies but when Afghanis or Iraqi children die.... they are collateral damage or an accident or some other fkin excuse. Ive had enough of this sht.

Ok you all hate the Taliban? So do I....but so what? You hate half of the world's regimes for many other reasons.... coruption, dictatorships etc.... but you just cant go into countries bombing the hell out of everyone cos "we want to bring them democracy, love, liberty, freedom....etc".

Thats all it boils down to. The Taliban are not going to disappear..... because they are part of the people... its not like they are foreign to the land. So the solution must be something else. Meanwhile,... OBL and his lot are regrouping and recruiting pakistanis while the US is focused on bombing innocent afghanis who had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place.

Damn right am feeling this tragedy.. unfortunately not many here do..... and am not even afghani or have anything to do with afghanistan...but we are suppose to friggin care as human beings.... and not just care for our own...... i can imagine how the relatives of those women and children must be feeling like.
