Re: Palin Speech
Well the GOP has done a good job today and yesterday of running Sarah Palin against the media, which basically means even if the speech were horrible, all we'd hear about is "liberal bias" which is a great way of not talking about the speech or answering any hard questions. Something that worked for Bush in 2000 and again in 2004. The problem this time around is that, in a week, it won't really be about Sarah Palin. It'll be about John McCain again, we hope. How long can Sarah Palin be the flag bearer, she's the Veep.

Yesterday, John McCain actually said that if he’s president he’ll take on, and I quote, 'the old boys’ network in Washington.' I’m not making this up. This is somebody been in Congress for 26 years, who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign. And now he tells us that he’s the one who’s gonna take on the old boys' network,” he said. “In the McCain campaign that’s called a staff meeting!- Obama, 9/17/2008
