The people of Alaska pay less taxes than most Americans, but then they lobby Washington and have the federal gov't pay their way.

Conservatives like to talk about responsibility, but where is it?

Mayor Palin left a huge deficit for Wasilla, and now Gov.Palin has the economic philosophy that Washington should simply take care of Alaska.

Her speech was great if you're already a hardline conservative who has absolutely no morals on the economy by advocating the financing of wars with tax cuts, but for everyone else, including moderates like myself, I haven't heard one damn thing that suggests McCain/Palin will reform or change anything.

More spending, more borrowing, more tax cuts. That's suicide.

If America swings her way and ends up liking her because she's "like one of us" than there's really no saving America from plunderers and the lions in sheep clothing on display at the RNC, who are certainly not conservative.

They are liberal-fascist.
