Fine, so you take both of them and put their records on debate. You ask yourself which one of the two has done more reaching across the aisle looking to actually acomplish something. You then ask which one has some experience in looking for change, going against your party, and perhaps get to a new direction in doing so. McCain may not be perfect, nor is Palin, but at least you'd have 2 that have some, any, record of trying to go against the grain so to speak.

People keep forgetting when they make statements about McCain in favor for Obama that all of a sudden Obama represents some sort of real change outside of which party is in the white house. Where is his major non partisan effort or legislation in which he aided at all bring sides together?

Now they, as in McCain and Palin, do not have my vote just yet but at least I am seeing a couple names doing something to actually promote change outside of a political party. Using a couple of histories here of not voting and doing all the time what a party tells them to. Again, not perfect... not totally convinced yet... but far more than a few speaches from a couple of true libs with no intention of reform or bring parties together to get something done.

Man I woke up on the wrong side of the coffee cup this am.
