In the end she left no doubt of her worthiness of her latest title. Clearly John McCain saw that beyond her beauty queen appeal Sarah Palin could readily answer the question of her ultimate qualification for the title of his running mate; her substance and character.
Answered THE QUESTION? She hasn't had to face the media at all. Her substance? She gave the typical religious right platitudes while subtly attacking the Democratic party. A great strategy but that's not representative of substance.

I'm just surprised that people aren't looking at her background to confirm whether or not she could be a good V.P., they're basing their decisions on a speech that was prepared. There's a lot of people who can give a passable speech with enough prep time, especially if an entire team of speechwriters are involved.
