I mean unless you have a history of, and advocate for lauding woman and their advances and work etc. In any event, it is her show.

She lauds women who SHE admires, not just any women who has acheived a position of power. I've never heard her talk about Condi Rice or Laura Bush. She has always, clearly, favored those on the progressive side of the aisle.

ahhh I DO hear the irony bell ringing, you appear as blind as the media...
do I need to explain the paradox you just created?

There are no irony bells that are ringing, Obama has clear policies, positions and plans. And unlike Palin his record matches who he claims to be in public. Palin says she's an advocate for special needs families and cut funding for special needs kids in Alaska. She says she's a pro-life advocate who wants to encourage unwed mothers to have their babies, and she cut support for unwed mothers in Alaska. Considering Oprah's meager background no doubt these bread and butter issues turn her off about Palin.

This is somebody been in Congress for 26 years, who put seven of the most powerful Washington lobbyists in charge of his campaign. And now he tells us that he’s the one who’s gonna take on the old boys' network,” he said. “In the McCain campaign that’s called a staff meeting!- Obama, 9/17/2008
