I don't understand these claims of X's campaign is saying somthing through surrogates. No doubt, there are some floating around. However, saying that Palin is playing the gender card - as in the don't-pick-on-me-because-I'm-a-woman claim - through surrogates would have to be as valid as claiming BHO is playing the race card through surrogates.

Neither BHO or Palin have played their cards. Perhaps surrogates have from each camp, but that is a very difficult claim to support.
