No in fact after reading that Thomas was given the bums rush, I would say its more along the ole con/ lib pol. lines.
Palin as a woman can stand on her own as in Oprah could easily make a case and explain to her audience that, Plain as a woman, deserves to be applauded from a feminist side of things, BUT that on a personal level Oprah does not endorse her views etc. politically and does not wish to see it as a political appearance, they don’t have to discuss politics at all.
