The fact is that McCain's retreat from Friday's debate is impossible to explain except as a cynical political stunt.

Remember the RNC? A convenient hurricane allowed McCain an excuse to tell Junior and Dick that they weren't welcome.

This is no different. Instead of a natural disaster, this is a 100% preventable Republican economic catastrophe.
