The title to this thread should be "McCain Pretends to Suspend Campaign to get Attention." Let us review his non-partisan activities since the suspension.

Fact:
McCain's offensively false attack ads against Obama went on unimpeded- in spite of his promises to stop them.

Fact:
McCain continued his campaign related activities Wednesday and Thursday, including a McCain/Palin sit down with Katie Couric where both savagely criticized and berated Obama in their separate interviews.

Fact:
McCain made nearly all his scheduled campaign appearances, up until the time he flew from NYC to DC for the photo op around the bargaining table, where he contributed next to nothing. Then, McCain had plenty of time on his hands to brag to the press about what a great Maverick he is.

If the MSM wasn't in the tank for McCain, he would be savaged for this cynical stunt.
