Need proof? Just look at the horrible shape the communities are in that he was "organizing". He never accomplished anything in Chicago. The ghettos are still ghettos.

Read his book. He left there because he felt that he was having a very small impact, rightly realising he needed more more power to do any good, and thought he could do better further up. I know from personal experience that its very ahrd to make a difference to these communities just by 'organising.'
