In my case I have drifted over to other sights that offer more flexibility in this area. I'm sure I'm not alone in this. With some people it might make the difference whether to stick around and wait it out or to just move on. I think it would be better to give more reason to stick around. People like to belong to things. By giving more opportunity for interaction it might turn those passing through into actual fixtures.
One thing great about this site is the moderators are respectful. I like that.

It's a good thing to like
It hasn't always been that way. Mods are way better than they used to be. But, setting up a good mod team
has to take a lot of time and hit a lot of bumps in the road I guess. I'm sure the mods could tell stories LOL Not that they will but ... you know...
