Yes hello 67 where Isreal sent tractors in the Heights forward to start an engagement forcing a conflict over land they wanted.
Anyway, getting by the causes for a second. Territorial acquisition by war is in-admissable.
Its not a sporting competition where one wins something and keeps it.
So expecting peaceful relations while expecting to keep the land puts Isreal in a permanent state of war with Syria.
So they've got a choice. Live like the rest of the modern world without the threat of war or continue as they are as a dependent militarised island. Time to accept peace and put the ball in the Arab court for a change, after all, the Golan Heights mean little defensively anymore - neither the US nor the EU will stand to see any attack onto Isreal through it.
