I have always been told that society goes to great lengths to protect children from their own folly. Apparently some people do not believe this should be so.
This woman took advantage of a child's naivete to murder her, as surely as any predator has murdered any of his victims. The fact that she used the Internet as her main weapon should neither obviate the extent of her crime nor reduce its heinousness. She should fry and instead she is getting away with murder. The idea of what constitutes "Justice" displayed here is disgusting.
At the very least she should be shunned, ostracised and treated as an utter pariah for the rest of whatever miserable existence a merciful god inexplicably grants her. Let her know some of the anguish she caused an innocent child.

There was a very prominent family in this area whose daughter got married. The family helped them to start a very successful business. A few years into the marriage someone brutally murdered the young woman. Of course, the husband inherited the business interest and a great deal of family money.
Everyone knows he had her killed. The authorities have tried every possible way to convict him and as yet have been unable to do so. BUT the community convicted him in its own way, boycotted his businesses, and bankrupted him.
There is justice in the universe.
