Obama is trying to take away our choices. He wants to control everything. He's always been dishonest about his plans because if the full facts about it became clear they would be soundly rejected.
The reason Obama doesn't give a damned about Iran's elections is because he feels that the Iranian government did nothing wrong. He's used to dealing with criminals and low-lifes and he has no problem dealing with a government that stole the last election. He plans on doing the same himself.

Obama is trying to give Americans more choices, and freedom from economic diaster. He doesnt want to control everything. How much you can earn, what food you can eat, what kind of cars you can drive, where you can set our thermostats, whom you can send our money to.
He's been honest about his plans and theyve been soundly accepted.
The reason Obama does give a damn about Iran's elections yet, like average Americans he feels that the Iranian government will use the US as a scapegoat easier if given the chance . He's used to dealing with criminals and low-lifes and he knows how to deal with a hard line government. He however is a democrat both in name and deed.
