The creation of the Patriot Act wasn't liberal or conservative. It was just stupid. It tramples on our rights and gives into the terrorists.

As long as the Patriot Act exists, no matter what it's called, it signals that America really is afraid to the point that it'll liberally cave into the fear that was instilled because of the 9/11 attacks.

The conservative thing to do would have been to reject trampling all over the Constitution. So on this issue, Kucinich is definitely a conservative, not a liberal. But it's hard explaining liberal/conservative to many Americans nowadays since they're heels are so dug in to the false pretenses of what they think it means to actually be a conservative or a liberal anymore.
