Oh, I'd certainly imagine the further south one got, the higher the opposition. You can even see this just in Virginia, where NOVA was the only place to vote for allowing gay marriage by a rather large margin (think it was some 10-12% more than those against allowing it), while the southern parts of the state had similar margins going the other way.
Still, though, if you follow national trends on people's views on gay marriage, the supporters will be the majority in some 5-10 years. It's kind of strange that nationally, gay marriage has more support than marijuana legalization, yet the exact opposite is true for these boards.
