The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Affirmative action as it is used in practice is of course racism, and therefore unconstitutional. Yet, because either a politician agrees with it - or is in no way going to take it on - we have it nevertheless.
There are examples EVERYWHERE of "majority racism". And IMO - it is no different than black racism.
If a white person who is better qualified does not get a position and a lesser qualified, or as in many cases, zero qualified minority gets the job - that is unequal opportunity.
