Fun With Statistics!', here are a couple of sites:

See if you can find the holes in Link #1's conclusions.
There is a deliberate effort in many states attorney generals' offices to skew statistics and avoid reporting hate crimes by minorities. I have a couple of PDFs from California's Attorney General's Office that show that this is the case; they're from 2005 and earlier, so I will dig them up; I cleaned out my bookmarks a while back, but they should be on a server in California somewhere.
Anybody remember the Harlem pizza delivery boy case, where they robbed and then viciously murdered the boy? They targeted him because he was white, but it 'wasn't a hate crime because they robbed him'; the latter is the favorite loophole for reporting agencies, the ones that the DOJ and the FBI get their yearly statistical data from.
On the other hand, who hasn't heard about the NSM's 'anti-immigration March', wherein a few white morons were made out to be some sort of major threat?
