Not Turkey or Egypt. The Attaturk fought the European invaders off and created modern-day Turkey. Egypt is an ancient civilization, older than Europe. Although they lost the Sudan, the heart of Egypt stayed intact. The rest, yes was conquered by the Ottoman Empire and held by various Islammic Caliphates before then.

Israel has killed more than 250 people recently. That's fairly important. I guess you don't agree though. Although I find Israel's day-to-day attacks and expansion to be fairly repugnant, even someone as biased as you are can surely see that this is an enmormous escalation in violence for Israel and it's mostly one-sided killing in this case.

What so-called terrorists think about or do not think about firstly should not affect Israel, unless you are prepared to label them terrorists as well. Secondly, I do not appreciate my government constantly funneling weapons and diplomatic support as blank checks to Israel.

You are only arguing from a technical point of view. In reality, which is masked by pre-texts and gestures and ruses (which you have embraced) Israel is pre-empting Hezbollah with this campaign against them.

This is the standard defense for Israeli nationalists. Anyone who disagrees with Israeli nationalism and attacks on civilians hates Jews. It's a disgusting play of the race card, no different than Cynthia McKinney, David Duke or the KKK. I suppose that this was supposed to scare me, but it actually just proves my point.
