That is bullshit.
The airports were hit first - which effectively prevented a lot of people getting out even before Hezbollah fired anything. It was in retaliation for the kidnapping of the soldiers.
It was a huge shock to people in the region, and was the worst thing that could have been done.
For the sake of trapping a few Hezbollah operatives, Israel is happy to slaughter (and deliberately target) hundreds of innocent civilans, injure over a thousand, and ensure that haldf a million people are either without food, electricity and water, or denied any exit from living under the threat of Israeli terror.
If you believe that attacking an entire nation without warning is the way you deal with terrorism, then you support an even worse form of terrorism yourself.
