Did't have time to read this thread, but my opinion is that the way how USA has managed with Cuba is one of the biggest state crimes in the world - together with the similar crime in Palestine.

Only because Cuba has not allowed US companies to occupy Cuba, USA has made trade relations and traffick impossible in a country which gegraphically really needs connections. A nice thing though is that the proud and moral of US occupiers are still at the bottom of the Bay of Pigs.

Of course UN has also failed to solve this problem. It is a democratic right for Cuban people to have any kind of system, government, way of life, etc. - I just hope that they dont copy the US model which is not sustainable.
