What do you mean it got us nowhere! We were running massive surpluses before the Republicans came into office.
We probably wouldn't be in the Middle East as much, and definitely not in Iraq the way we are now if Gore had won the election.
So, what has talking tough and manufacturing enemies of the state done for us?
