Yep. The same Security Council that witnessed the killing of 6 Million Jews and watched GB sending refugees that weren't killed back to Germany. That, obviously, wasn't a practical solution.
With the fall of the Ottoman Empire in WWI, there was lots of redrawing of borders. Bottom line:Everybody bitched, too bad. It sucks to lose a war.

You're institutionalised, and your Cycloptic grasp of events isn't anything approaching what might be expected from 'someone versed in military history' as you advertise yourself.
I would expect that my view of events would come more from the Israeli side because I don't speak Arabic, just as I would expect yours to be more tilted towards the Arab side. Not being a Jew or an Arab, however, I don't have a dog in the fight as they say. Do you?

A labour strike is not a war. You are grasping at straws.
From November 30-February 1, 427 Arabs, 381 Jews and 46 British were killed and 1,035 Arabs, 725 Jews and 135 British were wounded. I'd call that a little more than a labor strike, wouldn't you?

As I said previously, by your own admission the Arab League did not enter into the 1948 war until Zionist military actions were well under way. It's a matter of historic fact. Ignore it if you choose, but don't repeat your silly claims as evidence that Arabs were the aggressors.
Does the name Al-Husayni mean anything to you? He was Mufti of Jerusalem, who was also a Nazi collaborator. And why? Because he had initiated violence against Jews since the Balfour Declaration.
At the Nurenburg War Trials, the Mufyi was said to be instrument in the extermination of Jews.
Quote:
"Adolf Eichmann's deputy Dieter Wisliceny testified during his war crimes trial in 1946 that ... "The Mufti was one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of European Jewry and had been a collaborator and adviser of Eichmann and Himmler in the execution of this plan... He was one of Eichmann’s best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures. I heard him say, accompanied by Eichmann, he had visited incognito the gas chambers of Auschwitz."

Here's a little more insight into the Chairman of the Arab Higher Committee.
Quote:
The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husayni, the Chairman of the Arab Higher Committee collaborated with Nazi Germany during the Second World War. In 1940, he asked the Axis powers to acknowledge the Arab right, "to settle the question of Jewish elements in Palestine and other Arab countries in accordance with the national and racial interests of the Arabs and along the lines similar to those used to solve the Jewish question in Germany and Italy."

Nice guy, huh? And you want me to believe that it was the Jews that started the violence in Israel?

Incidentally, are you calling me a half-wit ?
Did I say that?
