Assuming the world does not stop using oil, we should be able to help destroy the planet for centuries to come.
Little known fact about Alberta, we actually employ more people in the film industry than we do in the oil industry. Our economy is a little bit more diversified than you give us credit for.
Seems to me that AB is destined to give more than we receive for the indefinite future. But all in all, im fine with that.
Think about it this way MM, one of the major obstacles to AB really funding a world class health and education system (even better than it already is) is the imbalance it would create with the rest of Canada. Separated from Canada, that resistance would disappear, and we would probably rate as the best 'country' in the world, as far as living standards go.
