It has been common knowledge for decades that Israel had nukes. This is scarcely breaking news.

It's officially just a rumor, as actual official possession of nuclear weapons would trigger all sorts of sanctions under US law.
All arms shipments and aid would have to stop, under existing US law.
So while there is a "rumor" of an Israeli nuclear capacity, officially Israel has no nukes.
