Would you please clarify your last statement? One can decide looking upon it, that to your mind the European governments will ignore the attitude of "some" Europeans, and that is would-be absolutely natural sound situation. "Some Europeans" in that certain case was rather a big percentage, which doesn't means, of course, that Europeans became great fans of Putin - they simply heard their own thoughts from him this time. Yet, people elect their governments to materialize their attitude and will, not vice versa, accordingly to the Beacon of Democracy anyway.
One could recall the history with starting Iraq war. As all Britain was in the streets against it, the government simply has said to the crowds before the TV-eyes of the whole world "Shut up and f..k off, we're going to war".
