Very strange statement from the resident of Finland, as the namely Finnish companies are contracted for building underwater sector of pipe, or large part of it anyway.

The project started in 1997 when Gazprom and the Finnish company Neste (later Fortum) formed a joint company, North Transgas Oy, for construction and operation of a gas pipeline from Russia to Northern Germany across the Baltic Sea

So, as we have it accordingly to you - the Finns will build and operate it, but in the case of any technical emergency again there will be Russian unreliable machinery polluting the ocean?) Lame affort for explanation "No matter what Russia would be doing in this region would be looked at suspiciously". Try another round.
