i was on a medevac crew that picked up a soldier either late last month or early this month who was kia.. this man stuck out in my mind because he had a tatoo on his right shoulder that i could have sworn was a gravestone, with a date on it. i got the impression it was to honor one of his buddies that he lost while over here, but i couldn't be sure. anyways, it was very sad and i feel for everyone who has lost a family member or friend over here..
