Nobody nation's leader apart from Tony Blair gives a rat's ass about "international laws". Bush doesn't, Ehud Ohlmert doesn't, Mahmuud Abaas doesn't, Putin, Asad, Chirac and Howard don't, Saddam didn't, no-one does. As for U.N. resolutions....err yeah 17 is usually enough for people to pay attention right? Even Annan doesn't expect people to pay attention to them anymore...

Bush seemed rather interested in International laws when he was looking for a technical excuse to invade Iraq. UN resolutions, specifically.
