Ah... but I wasn't referring to you.
I'd say most people are comfortably in the middle, either leaning to the left or right.
I'd also say if Bill Maher had wished Dick Cheney dead, I'd have thought that extreme. But having seen the episode, it isn't what he said (though it was certainly open to that type of misinterpretation). I was listening to Scarborough talk about it last night (since he was also on the panel when Maher made his comments) and he had the same take on the statement as I do... so I'm in pretty good conservative company.
