Re: Republicans Call Fro Gonzales' Resignation
I hope he stays for a while, so the hearings get good air time.
John McKay from Oregon will testify that he was pressured to file voter fraud charges against the Christine Gregoire campaign when she won the Governorship on the second recount even though there wasn't any evidence of voter fraud.
He was later asked by Harriet Miers, White House Counsel, to explain why he had "mishandled" the election.
David Iglesias was called by prominent Republicans including a Senator and urged to file indictments against Democrats BEFORE the election.
Carol Lam was fired because she didn't file enough immigration cases, of course it had nothing to do with sending Duke Cunningham to the slammer.
The Republicans are actually doing the kind of stuff they used to falsely accuse Clinton of doing.
And the beauty is, they thought they would be in power forever, so they discussed their activities in emails and letters and in front of witnesses, because they believed they would never be subpoenaed. SURPRISE!
