Look on the bright side my friend - at least you won't have to worry to much when your daughter starts dating!
I went to ninjitsu (result of Bloodsport!) years ago. I always liked it because they trained you for a real fight (very little Kata) with things like bites, gouges (nose/eyes), grabs, and stamps (who said never kick a man while he's down).
At the start of each class you had to stand, arms outstretched, and take punches and kicks from fellow students to teach you what it was like to be hit. Ahhhhh, happy days.
I used to play rugby as well - does that count?
