That is a helluva rant. I love the C's and agree with a lot that is said but I also disagree with some things too.

For starters, I am a classic example of "Mr Middle Class" and I don't need a multi millionaire telling me how my quality of life is. (Now don't get me wrong, unlike a lot of people I hold no ill will toward the wealthy. Usually these people have to work very hard to get where they are at. I think it is extremely petty to disdain someone who is better off than yourself and I think that kind of attitude is extremely self destructive. Instead of whining that "they" have it all, get off of your butt and do something about your own situation.) Anyways, as a middle class American I don't feel squeezed at all. In fact every year has been better than the one before.

Also, as a conservative I disagree w/ some of the Bush bashing. Right now I believe that Bush is out of touch with a lot of things but some of the examples he used were misguided while others were pretty dead on. I won't go into them all because this post would be longer than the original. Overall it does sound like a worthy read.

Oh and by the way it was a 7 1/2 pound bass, not perch. Which, having fished all of my life, is a pretty damn good catch
