myopically cherry-picking single issues and expanding them into lambasting differing opinions is, in my veiw, blind loyalty. it's precisely why we have this chasm in our country now. 'they' said it, so it just 'has' to be idiotic.

i've no doubt some of your economic examples are true. i've also no doubt that folks more educated than i about them could debate you on every last one of them. all i can say is.....as the 'great communicator' asked.....'are you better off than you were four years ago?' economically, no. it's gotten quite tight in fact here in stymieville. moreover, we as a nation aren't better than we were four years ago.
