It might be prudent to step back before anyone accuses Foley of a crime and I mean that in the true sense that the word “crime” implies……

First let me say by all accounts it appears, and the operative word here, is “appears” that Foley is guilty of some malfeasance…BUT IF the page was 18 when these emails IM’s were sent, then like it or not Foley is not guilty of a “crime”….the emails have been in the hands of several left leaning newspapers for months, BUT they did not publish. Why? because and I am just speculating reasons here, that either they wanted them to come out now , as an October surprise or they didn’t see anything there that would do the consequent damage that the media feeds on.. …..the first media reports were not driven by these newspapers that had the email info…Further; if they waited, as Conyers former aid did, after having the knowledge of the mails etc. (IF the emails being sent to the page was a “crime”) then they are just as guilty, regards aiding and abetting.

Now, as to proof…the emails they had as I said didn’t spark the media to a 20 font front page lambaste…the IM’s are what’s important it appears…as many may know, IM’s are not like emails, they disappear after being sent unless the sender or receiver copy’s and saves them….I am not even sure if servers log them as they do “sent” email messages….the newspapers did not have these nor did Hastert or his minions………it appears.

I am not fronting for Foley, he appears to be a slimy character to be sure ( what politician isn’t?) and looking at the overall history regards sex scandals in the house and senate, this is not the end of the world…I mean Kennedy took an aid on jaunt from their party, (at which she left her purse hellooo) and she subsequently got killed…..where does that stack up? Overall……re: foley, there’s lots of potatoes but not much beef…so far….no pun intended………...

We're wasting billions of dollars killing people in 3rd world countries, abrogating the Geneva Convention, setting up secret prisons, legalizing torture, alienating our allies, and laying up a great store of retribution for ourselves if God is truly just.
