"nurse-ins" planned at airports

Women are planning nurse-ins due to a passenger that was asked to leave a plane because she was nursing. She was offered a blanket, and asked to cover up but she denied the request. I don't know why she would deny a polite request like that.

So a nurse in will be staged at delta ticket counters.

This will show them. Kick someone off a planes and we'll show you our boobs.

I would like to go on record that I fully support bare boobs in airports.

It would certainly make waiting in the security line a tad more tolerable...

Don’t you just hate it when moonbats come into our world?
Back in the 60’s when they were burning there bras, A U.S.F. professor organized a topless protest on Clearwater beach. When the chicks took off there shirts the crowed of mostly men started hooting, whistling and cheering them on. The chicks (Not being hardened feminist yet.) started giggling and dancing. This really pissed off the professor that organized it. (However, I did notice she didn’t take her shirt off…)

Exactly what makes you think this is the "christian right"? I have no problem with women breast feeding and did so with both of my children. I generally threw a light blanket over myself to prevent ogling but if I didn't have a blanket, I still fed them.

Oh gee, I wonder. Is this more likely to come from the people who think that Harry Potter has a satanic agenda, or is it going to come from the people who are fine with gay marriage? Lets take the two extremes, say Al Franken and Jerry Falwell, and stick them in the airport, want to take bets who would be the one to get all pissy?

Which makes you more progressive then the majority of the christian right.

Do you have ANY information to justify your insinuation that the requst she cover up came from a Christian dislike of the human body?

No? Didnt think so. Sounds like you're simply talking out your ass.

Consider this my friend: Which religion is it which requires women to cover their entire bodies in public?

Christian? I doubt it.

You can apologize at any time.

Please explain the connection between breastfeeding and christianity. I really don't follow your logic here. IMO, breastfeeding is a very sensitive topic for women. Women on both side of the issue are very passionate nd this has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with providing the best for your child (whatever that "best" may be). Or do you just think bitchy, upset women are more likely to be christian?

The Religious Right has very little to do with christianity.

What a women does or does not do, has nothing to do with this. The issue is whether someone doing it in public is really something to get upset over. Quite frankly the people who get upset over this are the people who are so sexually frustrated, that to them this is some great bit of sexual titilation, but not only that, they have been so indoctrinated that titilation = bad, they get angry.

Please show me people who get angry about this who are members of the christian right? Granted you may get a bunch of those overly zealous soccer moms, the kind who chase after violent video games. But I think even their insanity won't reach quite this far.

The religious right has, in fact, become the face of Christianity.

It may not be accurate, and it may not be fair, but it certainly is true...
