Umm! Rahul, this may come as a surprise but I have reached my present great age without seeing anything that could be classed as sexual pornography. Sad isn't it? It's not that I'm a wowser, but even in mainstream cinema I find it all a bit boring, or even embarrassing!

Most of the women I know feel that once one has participated in a certain sport it could only be a let down to turn into a mere spectator! However, as long as it's not demeaning and/or violent I don't condemn others for watching it and enjoying it.

I tend to view these types of forums, as an appropriate place to discuss potential solutions to our petitions of the Government for a redress of grievances.

I only meant, tyrant, from a democratic perspective. In any true forms of democracy, a tyrant would have to be voted in to office. I view other peoples opinions as a presentation of another point of view. According to JS Mill, understanding the opposing viewpoint helps us to understand our own point of view.

Good point, Rahul! I'm no Bible Thumper either, nor do I go to church or claim to be a "Christian". Yet I don't buy or look at porn either. I reckon it must be true that those that rail against such issues are the ones that have the greatest trouble dealing with their own personal demons and desires and thus have this incredible need to project their own self-loathing about their own defects of character on others.
"Live and Let Live" is another aspect and goal of the crowd I run with. We have found that when we try to control the lives of others with our own dictates the only result is generally more turmoil than there was before. I agree with this statement that I read a long time ago:
"The amount of structure and control a person demands from the outside world is directly proportional to the amount of emotional and mental chaos they experience within."
In Biblical terms it is referred to as logs and splinters.

Hypothetically, can a command economy use command economics to develop first world infrastructure? We already know that the second world was made possible by the socialism of command economics.

What does the term "command economy" mean? I am not very familiar with it ...
