This brings a point to light. If its her body and her choice, as is often the stance, then should women who do drugs during pregnancy be held accountable if the baby is harmed or killed. Since women have the right and are responsible for choosing, should women be charged with reckless endangerment or murder if they endanger the lives of their children during pregnancy.

And if your daughter were raped by your brother? What if she was raped by a stranger? What if she were married and pregnant, but her life would likely end during birth due to complications?

I have this question to the anti-abortion crowd.

First of all: i respect your right to feel as you want. just to preface this so no one believes I am trying to argue.

The question:
Isnt there a disconnect between anti-abortion and anti-welfare? In most cases, young girls abort simply because they dont have the means to care for the child. Perhaps she can be provided with welfare. unfortunately, many who are against abortion, are also against welfare.

What do you say to a mother who cannot afford to feed the baby who must go on welfare: "stop leaching off the system you leacherous swine?"

I must say I am stunned by the results of this poll...

Yes, as long as the baby is not birthed.
otherwise, it is an ethical issue. In other words, she cannot be put in jail for simply having a crack baby. Not as far as I know, anyway.
Point of ethics: a mother still has the choice to abort a crack baby. Her body, her choice.

Do yourself a favor: keep it real by not telling people they are wrong for selecting one of your poll options.
Its just not right to present a poll, then tell someone they are wrong.
Why not have a NON-poll and debate an issue? Know what I mean?
