Who is racist?

I started dating a black girl like last week, and i had alot of interesting conversations with her... and her experiances.. she is probably one of the most intelligent people i have ever spoken too. way up there on mensa level can be rather intimidating. she told me somethings that were interesting...

she said that in her experiances that liberals can be just as racist as conservatives, and sometimes even more so, she says that afirmative action is extremely racist, even tho it may have had a point when it was first instituted. she says that most racism actually comes from the black community against her..

because she hates rap music, because it glorifys the ghetto life. she said that if black people keep saying that this is the way black people are supposed to live, that is how they will always live... black people she knows have given her trouble for hanging out with white people, for going to college, for trying to make something of herself.

and shes from the ghetto.. she tells me.. 'it sucks there babies crieing people shouting gun shots... police sirens every half hour naked children running about..." She is from a broken home.. somehow she managed to get out and go to school.. she is studying to be a psycologist.

She told me one time she was with her friends and they all got drunk.. and this one girl who was extremly liberal she touched.. and she said ' get your black coodies off of me.' shocking...

she says that racism exists but that its not really that bad.. and that people who are from other countries that like to complain about racism in america should be flooded with blacks and latinos and see how they handle it..
lol
and i know on here i am called racist for being pro israel...
even though i ethnically have hebrew blood, as well as irish.. and other things...
( the intelligence of a jew, with the fighting spirit of an irishman. cant beat that.. lol..jk)

but who is really racist? is the left losing its way?
when leftists begin to agree with far rightist and arab supremicists?

Re: Who is racist?

I have to say that I have found it rather telling that the left wing seem to ignore exactly what is going on in Darfur. Blacks wanted a share in power - so the arab 9whites) began to massacre them systematically - telling them it was because they are black.

Why is it that when leftists complain - they don't mention the racial aspects?

Sound like you've found a lady there - so treat her with respect!

Re: Who is racist?

I know a couple of black people that are extremely intelligent and they, too, experience more racism within the black community than they do the white. They're accused of betraying their heritage because they excelled in life! Strange!!!!!!!

Re: Who is racist?

people in other countries flooded with blacks and mexicans, nice. that's an interesting point and one worth considering.

who's racist? me. i'm racist. i'll make jokes from now till forever about black folk eatin' watermelon and drinkin' grape soda. why? because it's funny. you need to laugh at yourselves and if people want to be accepted that have to be able to accept the jokes in the friendly spirit they're given.

yes, i'm racist, but i am NOT prejudice. if i meet a black person wearing baggy clothes, i assume they like rap and have a blaccent but i dont assume they're going to rob me, be rude, offer me drugs, or whatever. stereotypes are based on reality, so we need to accept that and stop getting upset when someone points one out.

don't hinder anyone, don't oppress anyone, don't look down your nose at anyone because of their race. that's wrong. but making jokes about their people? well, you're not equal if it means we can't include you in our humor. you jab me, i jab you, and that's what real friendship is, being able to say the most aweful things and accepting it for the humor it was intended, not the "potential underlying social message" you think it entails.

Re: Who is racist?

I think that that is the first time I have ever heard racism as a factor of friendship.

Donkey, that is a freakin' cool avatar. Off topic, I know. I had to say it.

There's racism on both sides of the aisle.

Re: Who is racist?

I hate rap too. I hate it because it is annoying. There is no harmony and they don't play instruments. That doesn't make me racist. I think all rap is crap, no matter what color they are. There are probably people like rap who hate other kinds of music. It's a matter of personal taste. That has nothing to do with racism. Racism is about not giving people a job or letting them vote because of race.

Interesting way of looking at things. I am unsure though as to how these "most awful things" could possibly potray a sense of humor ...

Sorry, but I've never heard any black person say that they are "supposed" to live in the ghetto. Not even once.

It's sad but true. One has been called 'Uncle Tom' in spite of the fact that he exhibits no subservient behavior towards whites. He's also called 'whitey' because of his success.

Re: Who is racist?

So metalted claims a smart girl has agreed to date him. A girl "way up there on mensa level". And that sends up no red flags? Excuse me but this whole "i'm dating a black girl" thing is obviously a hoax and you people need to be a little less gullible.
