Army is in Alaska right now - on base - for extra pilot training. Not sure when his tour comes up, but i believe it's soon. Oh, and he has another kid on the way - I'm gonna be a (foster) grandma again! I hope he's still in the US when the baby is born, but I doubt it will happen.

I agree with you ... however I'm sure you'll agree that the majority of any such children having sex at a young age are engaging in heterosexual sex. Pardon my ignorance, but I just don't see you posting many threads about that issue? Why do you choose to focus so much on homosexuality?

I was wondering about that.
And this thread isn't about sexual activity in kids, it's about kids being safe from bullying even if they don't perfectly fit the 'gender norm' behavior profile. Which has little or nothing to do with sex, per se.
