The ritual is due to them pooping on the ground wherever they are when they need to, In prayer the guy behind you’s face is at the feet of the one in front and he can see and smell poop. We wear shoes here in the U.S. and have bathrooms (And you thought the neighbors dog pooping in your yard was a problem.).

In actuality you do bring up a point. In Japan the urinals are in the floor. Oh well, I guess they’ll have to give them separate Muslim only facilities…

What exactly are you talking about Hank? Could you possibly be a bit more clear?

I tried to make some sense of the statements above, but failed miserably. Anyone else understand what Hank is on about??

Actually they have a choice between virgins or young boys.

Information outlets have a way of suppressing derogatory information not Christian in nature.

Could you substantiate this claim please?

The real difference is between cultures, not religions. The Arabs were ritually clean long before Islam showed up. They were clean when the Europeans still thought it was unhealthy to take baths.

Though I fully understand that some of the people here are more than a little terrified of them furren' cultures takin' over.

But, DL, it's so much easier to be a bigoted asshole! Why confuse the issue with facts?

OK. I see the OP still hasn't gotten around to backing up his absurd claims, despite being asked by more than one poster to do so.

I do not know if it is in their holy book or not. I do know that they do wash like I described before prayers.

Re: Muslim foot-washing basins in airport restrooms

All over the world there are foot-washing basins and prayer rooms in airports. I don't see any problem with it. It is in the airports companies interest to keep their customers and employees (even indirect employees) happy.

And funding is the least problem - big modern airports are prestigious works of expensive architecture with expensive floors and expensive infrastructural investements. Im sure there's a few pennies left for a foot basin.
