Apology accepted.

As for the "R", well, if your not OK with kids seeing any R movie, which is what you seem to be saying, then your position is perfectly consistent as well.
Nope. I actually told you that I'd taken my kids to see the movie. I have no problem with the rating per se. The point that both Mrs. M and I are making, is that the decision is for a parent to make, not a school teacher. I don't feel comfortable with anyone making those kind of decisions without asking me.

Just curious, in the US, do they allow kids to watch R movies if they are accompanied by an adult? I thought they didnt allow kids to watch those movies, period ...

Yes. R means that an adult must accompany anyone under 17.

Only way I got to see Monty Python and the Holy Grail and Breakfast Club in the theaters.

If you lived here, you'd know...

Another clear example of what you "think" being fucked up...

Hmm, OK ...

I only really "lived" in the US after 17, so don't know (and plus, ratings have been irrelevant for me even when young ). Thanks for clarifying.

LOL@your second statement.

Oh, look! More abrasiveness without comment!

Why bother with comments like this? Do they make you feel better about yourself?

Given how often you attack people for their debate styles, perhaps you should examine your own?

When comment is warranted, comment is given...

It's directed at someone who is constantly critical of the United States; things we do here, laws that we have, etc., and he insists on these things changing.

But he doesn't live here, so I point out that, since that's the case, his opinion means dick.

If you don't like what I have to say, put me on "ignore" and move on...

I'd like you to show me where I've attacked someone for their debating style. No, if I'm going to attack someone, it'll be for their fucked up or meaningless views, or for the fact that they're simply a fuck up.

I honestly can't recall attacking anyone for how they debate...

So, in your book, only those who live in the US should debate on USPOL?

That's an unfortunate perspective. We as a nation have much that we could learn from people outside the US. to discount them all because they don't live here is wasting a good opportunity to increase learning.
