Border Guards = Taxi Service ?

I hope this is the right subsection for this issue.

FOXNews.com - Arrested 128 Times But Never Jailed; Border Patrol Gives Illegals a Lift Home Instead - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

I had to smile when I read that. Why don't they just give all illegals free tickets for a bus ride home? I bet those border guards have more important things to do than being a taxi for illegal immigrants. I also have tried to imagine a less cost-intensive solution for the problem, but given the fact that it should be ensured that those illegals are extracted from american territory, some transportation has to be provided. Maybe the term "attachment of debtor's purse" could solve the problem. But that might cause some of the illegals to simply stay inside the US instead.

yea well, they are indians, one of the more oppressed classes in Mexico, frankly I don't see what they can do, locking these folks up is well a bridge to far imho.

If you've ever been to the interior and coastal areas of Mexico where any wealth is present you understand begging is a time-honored tradition (now becoming a very popular vocation in the US). The women involved in this incident merely have better marketing instinct than many of their competitors.
