Re: Who Controls Education ?
Quote:
So how do you get through to closed minded people? I have been having this problem from years, when I first started doing research, it is has been the same thing, people just refuse to belive anything that even hints at a conspiracy. Every poll since JFK's assassination shows that the majority of Americans think we were lied to about what really happened to JFK. Poll after poll, year after year. Here is a CBS poll from 1998 which shows that only 10% of Americans belive Oswald acted alone. CBS Poll: JFK Conspiracy Lives, Only 10 Percent Believe Oswald Acted Alone - CBS News The same large majority of Americans believes there was an official government cover-up. By 74 percent to 13 percent, the public thinks there was an official cover-up to keep the public from learning the truth about the assassination. 74% of Americans, according to this poll, believe there was a government cover up of the assassination of this countries president. How can 3/4 of the people believe the government covered up the assassination of it's own leader, but not believe in any other conspiracies? The answer is simple, the American people have been brainwashed. The more educated a person is, the more brainwashed they are. While older Americans, over the age of 65, and people with college degrees are the least likely to believe in a conspiracy theory or an official government cover-up, clear majorities in these groups still believe this. See? "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school."--Albert Einstein "We are students of words; we are shut up in schools, and colleges, and recitation rooms, for ten or fifteen years, and come out at last with a bag of wind, a memory of words, and do not know a thing."--Ralph Waldo Emerson William Torrey Harris, U.S. Commissioner of Education, 1889 "Our schools have been scientifically designed to prevent over-education from happening. [...] The average American (should be) content with their humble role in life, because they're not tempted to think about any other role." Victor Hugo "Common sense is in spite of, not as the result of education." Doris Lessing "You are in the process of being indoctrinated. We have not yet evolved a system of education that is not a system of indoctrination." "Think wrongly if you please, but in all cases think for yourself." Roger Lewin "Too often we give children answers to remember rather than problems to solve." H.L. Mencken "And what is a good citizen? Simply one who never says, does or thinks anything that is unusual. Schools are maintained in order to bring this uniformity up to the highest possible point." Friedrich Nietzsche "The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently." Plato "Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion has no hold on the mind. Therefore do not use compulsion, but let early education be rather a sort of amusement; this will better enable you to find out the natural bent of the child." Beatrix Potter "Thank goodness I was never sent to school; it would have rubbed off some of the originality." Ezra Loomis Pound "Real education must ultimately be limited to men who insist on knowing. The rest is mere sheep herding." Bertrand Russel "Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education." Sir Walter Scott "All men who have turned out worth anything have had the chief hand in their own education." Henry David Thoreau "What does education often do? It makes a straight cut ditch of a free meandering brook." MARK TWAIN "I have never let my schooling interfere with my education." “Education consists mainly of what we have unlearned.” "God made the Idiot for practice, and then He made the School Board." "Soap and education are not as sudden as a massacre, but they are more deadly in the long run." |

In the time it took you to respond to my post, you could have read my ORIGINAL POST. But, being a typical American, you would rather attack me and my information, then to bother to actually READ THE INFORMATION. So flipping typical. You got your "tin fol hat" reference in there, regarding a post you ADMITTED TO NOT EVEN BOTHERING TO READ. You also called the information "NONSENSE", even though you ADMITTED YOU DIDN'T BOTHER TO READ ANY OF THE INFORMATION PRESENTED. Your post proved everything I said about you is correct. You are a typical, closed minded drone. THANK YOU. |

That I don't judge information unless I actually bother to read it? Yes, you are correct. I actually read information before I judge it. Call me crazy. |

Re: Who Controls Education ?
No, that you're so desperate to believe most every conspiracy that comes your way that you'll find it in every dark corner. Your posts thus far do not demonstrate an ability to examine evidence impartially, nor an ability to think on your own.

I have spent over 200 hours researching several conspiracies. I mean really, name all the conspiracies you have researched and how much time you have spent on each one. I will go first. TWA 800: over 250 hours. OKC Bombing: well over 100 hours Fluoride: 100 hours rBGH: 150 HOURS Banking and the FED: Well over 200 HOURS Foundations/CFR/TC: Over 250 hours Pearl Harbor: Well over 200 hours Tainted Blood Scandal: over 50 hours This is a partial list. It is easy to dismiss information, but few seem to want to tell me why Norman Dodd and Rene Wormser are wrong. Please, feel free to post evidence which shows that Wormser and Dodd are not telling the truth. |

Ever hear of the truth? Name what topics you have researched. No, of course you won't, as I doubt a single one is important to the future of this country. |

Your "research" cannot possibly have less impact on the future of the US. I'm fully capable of evaluating actual facts objectively. Unfortunately, conspiracy theorists have at least one character flaw - they are unable to look at the big picture and understand how ridiculous their "evidence" is. They obfuscate and overpower with volume, but they have little of any real consequence to say.

You don't know what volume is. I posted one part of a 7 part piece on education, as well as very small excerpts from Dodd and Wormser and you accuse me of trying to obfuscate with overpower and volume? What a load of crap, just like most of your posts. I guess to someone like you, who has probably never bothered to research a single important topic in your entire life, I guess reading a couple of pages is too much work. You are a typical, lazy person who is so brainwashed you wouldn't know the truth if it bit you on the ass. What I posted was a "tiny" amount of information. I mean tiny. It would have taken less time to read the information I presented than it took you to write your worthless posts which contained no substance. I posted evidence to support my opinion. You have offered nothing to support your opinion. Nothing, not one shred of evidence, not one argument relating to how Dodd and Wormser were mistaken, or possibly lying. No, just like a typical brainwashed, lazy person buried in denial does, you attack me and the information, but refuse to offer anything to support your view. You even ADMITTED that you didn't bother to read my information, yet you still attacked it. PATHETIC ! You have zero credibility. You are just trolling and you are not even worth my time. Get a flipping clue. |

Re: Who Controls Education ?
You're a funny man.
The "information" you presented is so disjointed as to be worthless. It's all innuendo, and mostly meaningless to those of us who don't buy that everything is some sort of conspiracy. The fact is that the education system, and educators themselves, are FAR too disorganized to successfully conspire to change a light bulb, much less brainwash all of America in some sort of mind control scheme. Now, if you have something that's actually relevant to post, try doing so in a coherent manner, and limiting yourself to a few main points, rather than spamming 2 pages worth of dates and innuendo that really don't mean anything.

It is all the words of two men in charge of a Congressional committee to investigate the tax free foundations and their influence on our government. You have not posted a shred of evidence to discount their statements. None. Zero. Zilch. Nada. If only Wormser had made the claims about the foundations and education, then I could see being more skeptical, since it could be claimed he just wanted to sell more books. However, Dodd, confirms his claims, under oath, in Congressional testimony, 26 years after the Reece committee and over 20 years after Wormser published his book. Your comment where you said........ The fact is that the education system, and educators themselves, are FAR too disorganized to successfully conspire to change a light bulb, much less brainwash all of America in some sort of mind control scheme. .......proves that you do not know what you are talking about. No where have I presented any information which claimed, or implied what you said above. There is no conspiracy among teachers, or most administrators, the conspiracy is much deeper and higher. It all has to do with national goals and national policies. If you had bothered to actually read the information I presented, then you would know this. Please do not reply to my posts anymore. I am sick of debating brainwashed morons who attempt to debate information they are too fucking lazy to even read. I have never done that once in my life. But then, I am not a brainwashed moron. |

Re: Who Controls Education ?
So, I guess I will post some more info, just in case anyone might be interested.
A good documentary on OBE from Pennsylvania. Documentaries.WS: Content / Documentaries & Videos / Who Controls Our Children ? (Public Education Dumb Down Kids Deliberately) 60 Minutes This documentary is great. It shows how conformity is what is taught in our schools today. Conformity, also known as collectivism. So, where did the idea to teach collectivism come from? Well, it came from John Dewey of course. John Dewey stated in 1899: "Children who know how to think for themselves spoil the harmony of the collective society which is coming where everyone is interdependent." Dewey also wrote... "I believe, therefore, that the true center of correlation on the school subjects is not science, nor literature, nor history, nor geography, but the child's own social activities.” 25: Phooey on John Dewey--The Dewey Deception So, how did collectivism get into our school policies? Once again we go to Norman Dodd......... This group of twenty historians(hired by the foundations) eventually formed the nucleus of the American Historical Association. Then toward the end of the 1920’s the Endowment grants to the American Historical Association $400,000 [a huge amount of money in those days] for a study of history in a manner that points to what this country can look forward to in the future. That culminates in a seven-volume study, the last volume of which is a summary of the contents of the other six. And the essence of the last volume is, the future of this country belongs to collectivism, administered with characteristic American efficiency. INDIVIDUALISM VERSUS COLLECTIVISM Consider the following from an article called “Global Framework for Local Education” from Holistic Education Review (Spring 1991), by Joel Beversluis. This passage is excerpted from “The Myth of a Competitive World-Class Education”, which appeared in Free World Research Report in May 1993 and was written by Marla Quenzer and Sarah Leslie: He states "that educational objectives [should] transcend the accumulation of facts, the learning of skills, and even the preparation for work and life in the world as it is. Rather, at its best, education will assist, like a midwife, in the transformation of the mindsets—the consciousness—of students....” Beversluis asks, “Is it not time for the community of educators and educational publishers to recognize that the respectful study of diverse cosmologies, value systems, and religions has a legitimate and even necessary place in the curriculum?” He then proceeds to list these new “global” values.... "Just what values are being talked about? This turns out to be the pivotal question. Beversluis spells it out for us. He lists as negative values: “individualism, nationalism, free enterprise, unlimited growth and progress, and competitive achievement.” The values he lists as positive are “interdependence, diversity, cooperation, equilibrium, and limits.” Individualism Versus Collectivism – The Threat of Collectivism in U.S. Schools Here are excerpts from an extensive commentary on public education, made in March, 1958, by Vice Admiral Hyman G. Rickover (often called the "father of the atomic submarine"): "The chronic shortage of good scientists, engineers and other professionals which plagues us is the result of time wasted in public schools which must be made up later on." "(America is) reaping the consequences of the destruction of traditional education by the Dewey-Kilpatrick experimentalist philosophy. In May, 1962, the U. S. office of Education published EDUCATION FOR FREEDOM AND WORLD UNDERSTANDING. On page 23, the "Long Range Objective" of American education is stated: "Our fundamental goal is a progressive nation in a peaceful world... Achieving this objective demands understanding of and commitment to the proposition that education is a primary instrument for social advancement and human welfare." Progressive Education - Smoot Report Last, I will end with a 2 part piece from one of the best living researchers on the planet. His name is Dr. Dennis Cuddy. Dr. Cuddy has condensed a lot of information into a relatively short piece. MENTAL HEALTH, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL CONTROL Part 1 Dr. Dennis Cuddy -- Mental Health, Education and Social Control, Part 1 MENTAL HEALTH, EDUCATION AND SOCIAL CONTROL Part 2 Dr. Dennis Cuddy -- Mental Health, Education and Social Control, Part 2 A tiny excerpt.......... The word, "moulded," is instructive because in THE WORLD'S WORK (August 1912), one reads "The Country School of Tomorrow" by GEB chairman Frederick Gates, declaring: "In our dreams, we have limitless resources, and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our molding hands." Not only was the GEB to be used for social control, but the Rockefeller Foundation as well. On April 11, 1933, its president , Max Mason, assured trustees that in their program, " the Social Sciences will concern themselves with the rationalization of social control... the control of human behavior." And in July of the very next year (1934), Willard Givens (executive secretary of the National Education Association 1935-1952) declared: " A dying laissez-faire must be completely destroyed and all of us, including the 'owners,' must be subjected to a large degree of social control....An equitable distribution of income will be sought." |

They apply all of the junk they learned in our schools of higher learning to all of their thought processes and forget about thinking for themselves. That's why they can't accept novel ideas that weren't fed to them by the Main Stream Media. In fact if it ain't in the news then it ain't news to them. The MSM just repeats the themes they learned in school and re-enforces them. It is the easiest to understand stereotypical gobbaldygook they think fits into their viewpoint of the world which was pounded into their minds during school.
