Your assuming there isn't a lucid, logical, practical reasoning behind a commandment. There are. And everyone is going to have difficulty with some of them. That doesn't make them wrong or invalid.

Yes, but that requires an amendment to the constitution, which is a different animal alltogether.

Your ignorance of our gov't and how it functions is indeed laughable and a source of mirth to many, but I, personally, pity you.

Well, I laugh at you and pity you. It's an odd thing.
You're completely devoid of any ability to reason at all. You try and say I'm wrong and then agree with me and try and play it off as something "different".

That's what I was talking about. If you have enough people voting for representatives, to put forward the things they want, our government can be turned into whatever we want and change it however we want.

You can't even make a few comments w/o contradicting yourself. You're a hack and never have anything of value to say.

What I find odd, is that anyone even responds to someone who uses such insulting language.

You accuse others of what you yourself are guilty of. When you decide to actually learn and understand the subjects you're discussing, you'll get better results in discussions about them. When you decide to address others in a civil way you'll get better results. Might take some time, but it will be worth it.

No, as usual, you simple statement wasn't nearly exact enough to be determinate, but vague enough for you to weasel out from under being called on it. "If enough people vote for it" isn't the same thing as saying "It requires a constitutional amendment", but feel free to believe that it is.

Perhaps it's escaped your notice that people should actually say what they mean instead of simply issuing ambiguous blandishments.

Except, of course, that I haven't contradicted myself, I've just called you on your usual BS and you don't like it.

I respond in kind to how I am addressed, or to the general tenor of what I am addressing. You find this odd. Ok.

Given your posting record, and my delight in exposing absurdity and irrationality in the posts of members such as yourself, I can see how you might be confused on this issue.

And speaking of being taken seriously, if you refrain from plagiarism, you might get better results in discussions around here. Might take some time, but it will be worth it.

Weasel out? No, I can't help it if you need it spelled out for you on how our government works. The statement still stands as true and the fact that you try and play it off as me weaseling out is funny because you know I'm right, so you just toss a name out there.

I repeat, "All there needs to be is a majority of one particular religion to vote that way."

You lose, thanks for playing.

right so they can write a law that says :burn the fags GOD WILLS IT.

O wait THEY CAN"T. They couldn't write any law that says x is illegal because God said so. what with the whole establishment clause in the Constitution. Not to mention the fact that getting that many christians (or people) to agree on anything other than the fact that God exists is going to be hella impossible.
Besides, if theyre voting to take rights away or restrict civil rights it doesn't matter how they voted because ITS ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Theyd have to change the constitution, which would require them to say "we wanna do this so the fags can't get married". which would get them slapped down by the supreme court and the general populace pretty quickly.

I'm sorry let me rephrase.
there has to be a lucid, logical, practical, NONRELIGIOUS, reasoning. Secular nation, not a theocracy we be. Interesting no?

Because God said so, is not a reasoning you can use to make laws in this country. its specifically protected against.

Ah, so not only can't you write rational posts, you don't understand the ones that you read.

Thanks, that's the last bit of confirmation that I need to understand why you're so tragically out of your depth here.

Again, I'm sorry for making you so uncomfy.

It's cute that you think that you make me uncomfy. It's also cute when you've been proven wrong, admitted you were wrong and then say I'm the one that's out of their depth.

*insert more inane Tanngrisnir3-like comments here*

P.S. Is it still fun when someone plays your game back to you?

No, not in the least. You make a comment in the most general, unspecific manner, and then, when you get called on both you and it being that way, you do this odd victory dance, thinking that you've won something when all you've done been exposed.

The wolves in your world must have very soft teeth.

No games here on my part. Just having fun watching you dance. You don't even need winding up.

You mean exposed for being correct, by your own words. What color is the sky in your world?

I'm sorry a simple fucking question vexes you. I'll keep that in mind for the future.

In a discussion about Christianity, you stated something about "liberal" attacks. I was merely trying to find out if you believed that anyone who wasn't a Christian was a liberal.

A simple "yes" or "no" would've sufficed, and would've been easy enough to respond with.

Yet, you suffer a major fail.

Kudos...
